January 26, 2013 – Students from the Franco-American Centre children’s French language classes visited Finesse Pastries on Elm Street in Manchester to learn about the art of French pastry making. Chelsey Erickson, the shop owner and head chef, studied at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Massachusetts under Delphin Gomes, the only French master baker in New England. The students had a fantastic time learning how to make “chaussons” or turnovers. Yum! A big thank you (Merci beaucoup!) to Chelsey and her team at Finesse!
