Enter into the daring world of lumberjacking as the Franco-American Centre invites you to attend Timber! a heart-warming circus performance being held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Dana Center on the Saint Anselm College campus.
Through a combination of skill, agility, strength, creativity and humor the creators of Timber!, Cirque Alfonse, has created a performance that is fun for the whole family. Sharing in our love to spread French-Canadian culture, Timber! incorporates traditional Quebecois music such as the call and response song, French lumberjack ballads, and line dancing throughout its performances. Watch along with us as the performers balance on logs, hold your breath as they juggle hatchets and laugh as they simply clown around with some lighthearted antics all taking place in a lumberjack camp ripe with nostalgia of earlier days. A light, members-only reception will be held following the event.
Franco-American Centre (FAC) members can reserve their seats by calling the Dana Center box office at 641-7700. In order to take advantage of the FAC discount, members should identify themselves as FAC members when ordering their tickets.
