On Saturday, June 16th, the St. Anthony Community Center in Manchester was alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of French Canadian language and culture as the Franco-American Centre (FAC) gathered to feast and honor Franco-American influencers for their annual Festival of Saint Jean Baptiste, the national holiday of French Canadians in Quebec and around the world.

Amazon, the online shopping powerhouse, is known for its online shopping, as well as it’s relatively fast delivery service, Amazon Prime.
Yet, even with the well known delivery time, the company took their current reputation up with their latest idea: Amazon Smile… just in time for Black Friday and other holidays!
Amazon Smile is an edition of Amazon, though there’s a catch– Amazon Smile will donate 0.5% of an individuals purchase to a public charity of your choice! Amazon Smile can be used with an existing Amazon account, lists such as Wish lists, wedding or baby registries, and other settings will remain the same and aren’t affected.
When making a purchase, if opting to donate, a person may pick between a list of registered charities who accept Amazon Smile.
One charity that is accepting donations is… the Franco-American Centre!
