French Music – Sundays 9am – 12pm

A three-hour show featuring French-language music in a mix of various genres: Québécois country western tunes, peppy traditional and neo-traditional folklore, chansons in Cajun and Acadian styles, spiritual as well as smooth popular songs from around the francophonie world … for the folks “at home” (“Chez-Nous”).

Broadcasting continuously since March 1st, 1932 with the same call letters, WFEA is New Hampshire’s oldest AM radio station. To serve the Merrimack Valley’s large French-speaking population, mainly of French-Canadian origin, WFEA hosted the first French programs in 1937. Roger Lacerte’s Chez-Nous program continues this New Hampshire tradition with a new format of mixed genres and occasional themes. Community-based, playing listener’s requests, Chez-Nous is radio as it was always meant to be.
