Born and raised in Suncook, NH, Dan Chapman is currently a software engineer/test engineer in both the defense and medical device industries.

Prior to his engineering work Dan attended the University of New Hampshire. A big sports fan, Dan is a season ticket holder for the UNH Men’s Hockey games. Prior to UNH Dan worked many years in the restaurant business including being a co-owner of The 1810 Eatery in Kennebunk, ME in the early 1990s. The restaurant was recognized in Wine Spectator magazine for having one of the best wine lists in the State of Maine.

Dan’s wife is from the Philippines and Dan has spent a lot of time helping her family through financial aid or mentoring of some family members so they may reach their goals in a system that isn’t designed to reward them.

Dan has been an active volunteer for NH Poutinefest since its inception and has found that event to be a lot of fun and is looking forward to volunteering for many years to come. He has also attended many other FAC events.
