What is the Fleur Délices Baking Challenge?

The Fleur Délices Baking Challenge is a competition where up to 10 highly skilled amateur bakers compete.

Celebrity judges choose a champion and all attendees vote for People’s Choice Award winner at this delicious event.

Bakers have up to an hour to complete their cakes. During this time, attendees and judges observe the artists at work.

This year's theme : Plays/Musicals from the French-Speaking World

Contestants must decorate their cakes to represent a musical or play from the French

speaking world.

Cakes must include at least one of each of  the following: 

• Minimum of 2 tiers – one tier must be the equivalency of a 6-inch mold or bigger
• 1 of the tiers must be a sponge (cake batter) – any flavor 
• A buttercream element – flavor of choice 
• A 3D element – made of any edible material of the bakers choosing. 

Pricing:

Price includes appetizers (while they last), raffle tickets for door prizes and at least 2 cake samples.  A cash bar will be on available for purchasing drinks.

• Adults (13+ yrs) : $25 for non-members - $20 for FAC members
• Kids (6 – 12 yrs) : $10
• Kids 5yrs and under : Free
