About the event
Governor Sununu will issue a proclamation highlighting the historical and continuing importance of French in NH's culture. Special guests include Mustafa Soykurt, Consul General of France in Boston and Marie-Claude Francoeur, Delegate of Quebec in Boston. The event will take place as part of the Executive Council Meeting which begins at 10:00 a.m. Please plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m.
Free to participate - Seating is limited.
Following the Governor's Proclamation, there will be a brief reception with light refreshments downstairs. Please note that the reception location has changed to State House Room 100, close to the elevator on the first floor. This reception, sponsored by the Euclide Gilbert French Language Foundation, will provide an opportunity to meet dignitaries and those interested in French language and culture in New Hampshire.
