Francophonie Day in Concord, NH.

The order of the day’s events.

2:00pm – Governor’s Francophonie Proclamation: New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan will issue a special proclamation recognizing the ongoing importance of French in NH. This event will take place in the Executive Council Chambers at the State House in Concord and is free and open to the public.

3:00pm – Post-Proclamation Reception: Immediately following the Governor’s Proclamation, there will be a reception hosted by the Euclide Gilbert French Language Foundation for attendees. The Foundation has supported educational, cultural and artistic projects that promote international awareness of Francophonie in the United States.

At 5:00pm events continue at the Red River Theater where prizes will be awarded for Inaugural “Concours Vidéo de langue française” and later there will be a screening of the film Un rêve américain (An American Dream). More…
