Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre – May 15
Dinner at XO: 5:00 p.m.
Show begins: 7:30 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of dinner and theater. Les Misérables is one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history and winner of 8 Tony Awards.
The evening will begin with a delicious meal at XO followed by a performance of Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre.
Set in early 19th-century France, it is the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption after serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his sister’s starving child. Valjean decides to break his parole and start his life anew after a kindly bishop inspires him by a tremendous act of mercy. He is, however, relentlessly tracked down by a police inspector named Javert. Along the way, Valjean and a slew of characters are swept into a revolutionary period in France, where a group of young idealists make their last stand at a street barricade.
People interested in joining us for dinner can do so at their own expense by contacting [email protected] prior to May 13 and arriving at XO at 5:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
