Celebrate National Acadian Day with the FAC

Enjoy traditions from Acadian heritage with activities for the whole family.  Songs, games, dancing and crafts give everyone a chance to be Acadian for a day!

The fun will take place at the Shelter Pavilion at Bear Brook State Park starting at 10 am!

The Shelter Pavilion is an open style pavilion.  This area is completely handicap accessible and only a short walk to the beach located across the street.  This shelter has its own bathroom facilities, parking lot, running water, barbeque pit, charcoal grill, electrical outlets, and fireplace.  The shelter also has quick access to the trail system and a softball field.

Please note, this is a free event.  However, the park does charge a day use fee :

State Park Day Use Fees:

$4.00 per person ages 12 and older

$2.00 per person ages 6 through 11

All children under 6 and NH residents 65 and older are FREE
