Did you know that the French Canadian dialects of Quebec and the maritime provinces of Acadia are old dialects that derive from different regions of France from which the settlers originated?

Did you know that these dialects contain many ancient words and expressions that are closer to Latin and the other romance languages than modern French?

Date: Wednesday, October 24th

Time: 7 pm

Location: Chamberlin Free Public Library, 46 Main St., Greenville NH

Come share your linguistic heritage or simply listen and enjoy the richness of old French Canadian speech and how it differs from modern international French.
