Fête de la Francophonie:

Book Presentation/Signing by Marie-Josee Duquette, Quebec Delegation of Boston, and presence of French-speaking people from Congo, Quebec, etc.  We will learn about her two latest books; one that explores Boston through the eyes of a foreigner, while the other chronicles the difficult story of losing the father of her child to a cruel disease.

Marie-Josée Duquette grew up in Quebec and has called Boston home for the last ten years. Exploring the city as a local, she has ventured off the beaten track and discovered hidden gems most tourists never get to see, as well as trying out many of the family-friendly activities out there. In her recently published guide, Une Québécoise à Boston (2017), Marie-Josée Duquette draws on her experience to share tips with readers about the culture, sports and culinary delights Boston has to offer. Join us for an author talk in which Marie-Josée shares some highlights from her book and walks us through the city through the eyes of a Québécoise transplant.
