Fifth Annual Celebration of the Release of Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Saturday, November 22, 2014 Glass of Red Wine

Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular vin de primeur. Fermented for just a few weeks, it is released for sale on the third Thursday of November.

The Franco-American Centre will celebrate the release of Beaujolais Nouveau 2014 with a French-cuisine dinner in the Drumlins Restaurant at the Stonebridge Country Club. The menu has been selected by a French cuisine specialist. Each course will be paired with an appropriate wine.

This year’s theme is Plaisir d’Amour.

You will enjoy soft background music provided by a musician proficient in both “bon vieux temps” and modern French music, and happy to accept advance requests for your special songs. After dinner, he will lead a French Christmas Carol Singalong.
