Mammuth (“Mammuth”)
A return to the dramatic theater, this 2010 film shows Depardieu’s recent work. Serge Pilardosse (Depardieu), retires from the job he has held for many years, as a slaughterhouse worker in Lyon. Once home, he becomes all to quickly restless and realizes that being retired is kind of boring. With missing papers jeopardizing his retirement pension, he sets off across the country to recover the papers and, in the process, to rediscover himself.
