It’s that time of the year again. A time when children’s thoughts turn to The man in the red suit who will bring them their heart’s desire. Around the world, children are sharpening their crayons and pencils to prepare a letter to Père Noël (known as Santa Claus in the US). It is a holiday tradition around the world, but especially in French-speaking countries, that any child who sends a letter to Père Noël receives a letter from Père Noël himself.
This year, the Franco-American Centre has partnered with the Jolly Ole Elf to teach a bit of French to children and to help him manage his mailing list.
If your child would like to receive a letter from Père Noël (pronounced pair no-el), please register no later than December 6th by answering the survey (link below). This will allow Père Noël elves to make sure your child receives a personal message.
If you have any questions, please contact our chief Elf, Elizabeth Lemieux at [email protected].
